Biography
Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories (PUCL) was founded in by Dr. Joseph Paul Robinson and is based out of the Bindley Bioscience Center. PUCL has developed several educational and communication resources for the cytometry community including the Cytometry Discussion email list, manuals, protocols, and the Purdue Cytometry CD-Rom series. The Purdue Cytometry CD-ROM series () was created by PUCL to help researchers who had poor or no internet access to cytometry resources. The CDs and later DVDs contained information on ISAC abstracts, CLIA manuals, 3-D reconstructions, video files, and historically important documents and images relating to cytometry and imaging/microscopy. In addition to its educational communication activities PUCL is also known for their implementation of hyperspectral (or multispectral) cytometry and their development of tools and techniques for cellular analysis. PUCL also launched the Cytometry for Life (C4L) non-profit program. C4L is a program dedicated to providing CD4 count technology to HIV positive individuals in resource poor environments.

Biography
I am a PGR based in the Institute for Climate and Atmospheric Science at the University of Leeds. I am supervised by Professor Ben Murray and Dr Jim McQuaid, as well as Dr Richard Cotton and Professor Paul Field at the Met Office. My project looks at Ice Nucleating Particles (INP) in mixed-phase clouds. My work involves in-situ measurements in the UK as well as lab-based experiments characterising our measurement techniques. Before Leeds, I received by BSc in Atmospheric Science from Purdue University in Indiana, USA. As well as my research, I serve as a PGR rep for ICAS. Outside of my research, I enjoy getting hiking, skiing, and singing.
