History of Aldo Cipullo
Born in 1935 in Naples and raised in Rome, Aldo Cipullo’s interest in jewelry design began at an early age. His father had a business specializing in manufacturing costume jewelry, so Cipullo was taught how to design and make jewelry when he was a child. He even pursued an apprenticeship in jewelry design after his school days had come to an end.
A very important turning point in his life was when he moved to the United States in 1959. The Manhattan School of Visual Arts became his sole focus for the next few years. His days as an apprentice and student allowed him to hone his talent, giving him a chance to learn all the tricks and tradecrafts of jewelry and fashion design.

The story of the bracelet starts with Aldo Cipullo (1935- 1984), a young Italian goldsmith who emigrated from Italy to New York, leaving behind a successful family run costume jewellery company.
New York in the 1960’s and 1970’s was home to the spirit of revolution and formed a glamorous backdrop to burgeoning creativity and shifting social structures. Cipullo quickly fo
